Raffles, Grand Opera House, Liebler and Co., (10/12/1904-10/15/1904)

"Raffles" is the commonly used shortened name for "Raffles, the Amateur Cracksman." This Liebler and Co. production ran from Oct. 12 to Oct. 15, 1904 at the Grand Opera House. The performances of Kyrle Bellew and E.M. Holland as respectively burglar and detective were praised by the "Seattle Times." The "Times" also noted that the play is unusual for taking a non-moral tone to much of its plot.
