Max Figman was an actor on Broadway and around the country who often performed with his wife Lolita Robertson Figman. Based on available records, he performed in Seattle in three productions and a musical whose book he wrote was performed in Seattle once. The three plays he starred in were "The Passport" in 1895, "The Marriage of Kitty" in 1905, and "Mary Jane's Pa" in 1910. His writing credit was on the book for "The Alaskan," which was the inaugural performance at the Moore Theater on December 28, 1907. Figman died in 1952 at the age of 85.
