Louise Rutter is said to have been born in Baltimore, Maryland. She appeared on stage in Seattle a number of times between 1903 and 1906 in productions of "Rudolph and Adolph," "The Bonnie Brier Bush," "The Hurrah," and "The College Widow." She was briefly associated with the film studio, Thanhouser Company.
